The only thing I don't appreciate about it is that, during its installation, it offers to download and install unnecessary additional software. When it comes to completing the duplicate removal process, the program offers three methods to dispose of the detected duplicate files: to Recycle Bin, to the Rescue Center and delete them completely and irreversibly ("Permanently"). If you're not sure about your removal decision, you can send the selected files to Rescue Center so that you can recover them in case you need them later on.
From my point of view, an important advantage of using AusLogics Duplicate File Finder is that it also lets you scan for duplicates in the folders of any connected USB drives.
To be honest, I was very pleased with the program's performance as its scanning process was completed in a very short time, and it successfully located all duplicate files. Therefore, I see no reason why you shouldn't give this application a try too.

This program made it easy to delete duplicate files from a recovered hard drive with only numbers as filenames. It scanned 300gb of data and found 30gb of duplicate pictures, videos, software and documents. All done in 10 minutes.
